- Measured difficulty. Each difficulty page now shows what we found when we generated 300 of its puzzles and solved them: clue counts, average moves, and how often each kind of technique was needed.
- Corrected difficulty descriptions. Those measurements showed that some of our descriptions promised more than the puzzles deliver. Expert grids mostly need locked candidates, and only about one in twelve needs an X-Wing, XY-Wing or Swordfish; hard grids rarely need pairs. The pages, in all six languages, now say what the puzzles actually need.
- Walkthroughs. A new section where past daily puzzles are solved move by move, with notes on the position where each one gets hard. The first three are #19, #4 and #3.
- Clearer strategy diagrams. The worked examples for pointing pairs, pairs, X-Wing, XY-Wing and Swordfish now highlight the pattern itself as well as the cell it removes a candidate from. Before, only the eliminated cell was marked.

- Private leagues. Create a league, share its link, and see a table of just its members for the daily puzzle. No accounts: a league is a name and a code.
- Stay off the public board. League players can now choose to appear only in their leagues.
- Hall of Fame. Every finished month's three fastest players at each difficulty.
- Share your place. The share button now includes your place this month and in your leagues.
- Laptop layout. On wider screens the controls sit in a panel beside the board, and Restart moved next to the clock.
9 September 2026 — launch
- The site opened with four difficulties, a daily puzzle, 4×4 and 6×6 grids, printable sheets, a puzzle generator and eight strategy guides, in English, Spanish, German, French, Japanese and Korean.
- The monthly leaderboard for the daily puzzle went live the same day, followed by a run of fixes to the phone layout: a larger grid, the board and keypad on one screen, and a cleaner header.
- Printing was tightened so that a printed page carries the puzzles and nothing else.
