An easy puzzle on SudokuPath is one the generator could solve using nothing but naked singles and hidden singles — the two moves you can make by looking at the grid, without writing anything down.
That is a stronger promise than a clue count. Every easy grid here has been solved by the same logic you will use, before it was published. If you get stuck, there is always a single you have not spotted yet.
How to work through one
- Pick the digit that appears most often in the grid and hunt for boxes where it has only one possible home.
- When a box has just one or two empty cells left, fill them — those are the cheapest points on the board.
- Work in rows and columns of three boxes at a time; a digit fixed in two boxes of a band usually gives away its cell in the third.
- Only reach for pencil marks when scanning genuinely stops paying — on an easy grid it should not have to.
